Information to help current UNSW students:
- Be careful not to plagiarise. See here for more details.
- Postgrad association who lease laptop computers & have a good thesis writing guide.
- Conditions of loan of equipment
- Thesis Management System for the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications - describes some of the projects that I currently have on offer.
- What is expected during thesis work:
- Assistance with English:
- The Learning Centre can help with communication skills, e.g. technical writing in English through writing assistants
- The Institute of Languages at UNSW may be able to help. Note that they are located on King Street, Randwick; not in the main campus in Kensington.
- According to this link "The International Student Centre, located in the Red Centre, offers free services for students of non-English speaking backgrounds. They offer English courses, weekly classes, or individual consultations. They will read papers and help with any necessary corrections. They are normally open from 9.00am to 5.00pm; their phone number is 9385 5333."
- Some humour, in case you still can't figure out English.
