This Award has been established to recognise and encourage high achieving students in electrical engineering. The award, valued of $1000, will be given to the student that has shown the most improvement over the first five semesters of their studies in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or photonics.
Students currently enrolled in a BE (Elec), BE (Tele), BE (Photonics), or combined degree, and who have just completed their fifth semester, are eligible to apply. See further conditions below*.
Applications:
A full curriculum vitae and single-page written report, outlining the reasons for their improvement, and how the award will aid in their future studies and their further improvement, should be submitted via the web site below.
Each applicant will be assessed on the basis of academic merit, aptitude and commitment to their program of study, and personal qualities. The applicant need not be the best student overall, but must demonstrate that they have improved their grades substantially over the course of their studies.
