DSTO Summer Vacation Scholarship Program
Each year DSTO offers a limited number of scholarships over the University summer vacation period. Successful applicants undertake a 12-week research project at a DSTO establishment and receive a tax-free stipend of $3,700. Please note that students must meet certain scholarship requirements to qualify for the tax-free stipend. The primary objective
of the scholarship is to provide promising tertiary students
with a means by which they may engage in and gain experience
in research during the summer vacation period. The scholarship
provides an opportunity for the students to further develop
their skills and knowledge for educational purposes in a
research environment pertinent to their tertiary studies.
