New Head of School for EE&T in 2006
  In December 2005, Prof Branko Celler announced that he was standing down as Head of School after 8 years in the role. Associate Professor Tim Hesketh was appointed to the position on 23 February 2006.

Deans Award for Postgraduate Research.  
 
The Faculty of Engineering is pleased to announce the inaugural Deans Award for Postgraduate Research. Open to postgraduate research students in session 3 or higher of their enrolment (full time equivalent). Deadline for applications is 30 September 2005. Up to 5 candidates will be short-listed for the prize from each School. Those short-listed will be informed by October 14th More on the Faculty website
