Finding your way to the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications - UNSW

Arriving by Taxi

Enter by Gate 14 in Barker Street and turn right. Turn left by the Parking Station and go straight ahead to the brick paved area by the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications Building.

Arriving by Car

Enter by Gate 14 in Barker Street, which in the 1997 editions may be found at UBD Map 256 M16 or Gregory's Map 376 G16. Leave your car in the Parking Station. Pedestrian exits from the Parking Station are shown as outward red arrows on the map. Enter the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications Building at the western end of the building.

Arriving by Public Transport

There are many combinations of public transport that bring you to the University, but here only the main routes are described.

By Train

Take the train to Central Station. Leave from the northern end of the station into Eddy Avenue or the western side into Railway Square where a bus may be caught (see below) to the University.

By Bus

from Central Station The scheduled journey time from Central Station (Railway Square and Eddy Avenue) to the University during the day is approximately 25 minutes. Buses leave approximately every ten minutes on weekdays with a less frequent service after 1800 hours. During the lecture periods of each Session, express buses to the University also leave from Eddy Avenue.

Enter the University by the main pedestrian gate on Anzac Parade and follow the main walkway as shown on the map through to the School.

By Bus from Circular Quay
These buses leave from Young Street and travel via Elizabeth Street to Museum Station, Oxford Street to Taylor Square and Anzac Parade through Kensington to the University.
