About Us
The School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications (EE&T) is one of the largest of 10 schools which make up the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW. The School of EE&T distinguishes itself by offering the most complete range of undergraduate and postgraduate electrical engineering and telecommunications programs nationally.
Coursework programs are continuously reviewed and updated to ensure they meet student requirements and reflect current industry thinking and practice. Programs are reviewed by the School Industry Advisory Board and are accredited by The Institute of Engineers, Australia (IEAust) Currently there are approximately 1,230 students enrolled in UG programs and over 215 PG students, of whom half are engaged in research degrees. Approximately 25% of students are international, ensuring a constant cultural diversity and an international focus. The School boasts over 6,000 alumni, many of whom are in senior positions in industry, academe and government, both nationally and internationally.
